We value community, family, work, and spiritual nourishment as ways that draw us closer to God. We also struggle with such things as crime, racism, family stress, underemployment, and materialism, all of which make it more difficult to live peaceful lives. On election night, this Tuesday, the church will be open from 7 - 8PM for an hour of prayer, organized by Pax Christi, for the unity of our nation and for a swift, fair and unhindered process of vote-counting. All are welcome. There will be a couple songs, a couple readings, a time for spontaneous petitionary prayer and periods of extended silence.
