We value community, family, work, and spiritual nourishment as ways that draw us closer to God. We also struggle with such things as crime, racism, family stress, underemployment, and materialism, all of which make it more difficult to live peaceful lives. The volunteers for this ministry purchase food items and make sandwiches for a men’s homeless shelter in the community. The volunteer groups meet each Monday, 8-9pm in the ministry center. Currently there is a need for one or two volunteers for the 2nd Monday of the month. Contact Brenda at the ministry center for further information ~ 773-973-5464.
