Jesuit Volunteers in need of household items
JVC Magis*, an intentional community in the St. Gertrude neighborhood, is in need of some furniture (a couch or two, a kitchen/dining room table) and some dishes (plates, bowls, cups, etc.). If you can help us out with any of the above, please email Katie Sullivan at

* JVC Magis is an extension of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. The 10 volunteers, 5 of whom live just blocks from St. Gertrude, are pursuing graduate degrees at Loyola while also working in non-profit/ministry settings in the community. Our community is currently in the midst of some transition, which leaves us in need of furniture and dishes. Many of us attend mass at St. Gertrude and we have always felt extremely welcome.
