New Lenten Faith Sharing Group
We are putting together our schedule of Faith Sharing groups for Lent. Most will be scripture based and will begin the week of February 21 (Ash Wednesday is February 17).
We have a special group this year which will focus on:
SPIRITUALITY OF SOIL: A Lenten Journey from Cosmic Dust to Easter Garden
This group will meet 7 times on Sundays, beginning February 14, at 2pm.
The group is designed to heighten our appreciation of God’s gift of Earth, God’s living and acting within it, current threats to our planet, and how we can respond in faith. Each week’s conversation will revolve around readings reminding us of God’s gifts of fertile dust, seeds, sheaves, trees as well as what each new age wants and needs.
Terri MacKenzie, SHCJ will facilitate the group.
