We value community, family, work, and spiritual nourishment as ways that draw us closer to God. We also struggle with such things as crime, racism, family stress, underemployment, and materialism, all of which make it more difficult to live peaceful lives. Tomorrow evening, March 12, forty-nine children from our parish will receive the sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. Please keep them in your prayers as they take this important step on their journey of faith.
