Spiritual Direction / Spiritual Companionship
Spiritual direction or companionship is a process that helps people of faith discern where and how God is acting in their life. With a trained director you are invited to reflect more deeply on your relationship with God and on how God is present in the events of your life. Regular meetings with the spiritual director, often monthly, help you maintain a sense of continuity and “direction,” as life and insights unfold.
St. Gertrude Parish provides office space for spiritual direction in its Ministry Center, 6214 N. Glenwood Avenue. A sliding-fee scale helps make spiritual direction affordable.
